Introduction

The Pharm D course is also known as the Doctorate of Pharmacy. A professional doctorate programme that persists for six years, the Pharm D programme educates students to become pharmacists. Pharm D graduates get the knowledge and abilities that are required to pursue a profession in medicine. The course of study for a Pharm D degree covers a wide range of scientific subjects, such as medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacy practice.

Eligibility

10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.

A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of Pharmacy Act.

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
